Homeopathy is a holistic system of treatment. It aims to treat the whole person, rather than just the physical symptoms. This is why a good homeopath will only prescribe after taking complete case history of the patient followed by analyzing the case from all angles.

Dr. Rohit Jain, senior homeopathic doctor practicing since 1997, bursts the myth that homeopathy first makes the disease or symptoms worse. According to him, there are many reasons for disease getting worse after taking homeopathic medicines.

According to him it is not a problem for diabetic patients to take sweet homeopathic pills. He adds that he gives medicines for one month which contain sugar equal to one fourth of a small loaf of bread and he says these medicines have to be taken in small amounts for the whole month
